This is 1^st book of Carter Hills Band Series, it can be read as stand alone. My first in this series and this book is good, really playing my emotion!

Synopsis:

I got enchanted by the blurb, broody MMC?? Oooohhh I curious already. April is a writer who face writer block that made her procrastinating her next book. Her friend Saunder try to help. Give hideaway in five-stars cabin in green mountain. 

Carter is famous country music with complicated love life, everything in his life really press him down, his career, his ignorance parents, his manipulative ex. for his mental health sake he go to his cabin for retreat.

First encounter spark flying and the attraction so strong. How they covering it? Bickering like a child. Their feeling build slowly. Slowly trust each other, slowly open up to each other. I get jealous how April able to understand Carter without having to explain anything. Their past become burden to step up in new relationship.

 I cringe reading Dahlia and Carter backstory, like what the fudgeee.. oh April why can’t you be strong and stand together with Carter! Why you care so much with other people opinion! Carter doesn’t mind it why should you? Seriously this book really toying with my emotion!

I love how April and Carter spend time together! Doing activity around cabin, enjoying each other company and slowly open up to each other! Carter fight for April and make many effort to gain her love again, and grand gesture at the end, wow!! The epilogue satisfying me, good closure for me.

Hot Scene: 🔥🔥🔥🔥

    Oh yeahh there are hot scene here and really hot, they flirt is so good with dual POV I enjoying their ogling and lust for each other.
